Hello Everybody

I’m excited that Aaron and I from the NewsChannel 8 sports department will have an opportunity to give our insights on our new blogs.  I hope you find it interesting with the hope that we can have some fun conversations by having everybody comment back and throwing in their own opinion on the big (and not so big) sports topics that get brought up.

I remember during my college days having to pick between trying to get a job in tv or radio.  I had internships in both and each had things that I truly loved about them.  The thing I miss the most about radio is the opportunity to rant on a topic which is what you need to do when you have a daily 2-hour drive time sports talk show.  Compare that to tv where I have to get an entire day’s content in a 4 minute time slot.  So I view this new blog as my chance to go beyond the 45 second story you see during our nightly news and throw in what I think about it (too bad we didn’t have this running during the whole Favre saga this past offseason).
