C-C See You Later

ESPN is reporting that CC Sabathia is taking the money and running.   Meaning, the hefty lefty is signing a 7 year, 160 million dollar deal.  If you’re wondering what team offered him that contract you haven’t been following baseball that closely the last 10 years.  Of course it’s the New York Yankees.  There are reports out that saying the Yankees may still go after Derek Lowe and Ben Sheets.  For those of you mad at Sabathia for not staying in Milwaukee I feel you, but it IS 160 MILLION DOLLARS!  That’s a lot to turn down.  This is something fun I saw on ESPN.  You can see how your annual salary holds up to what CC will make in the Big Apple.  http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/salary/index?athleteId=3708887
